Vessel Details
50m Dutch-built modern classic schooner, recently refitted and ready for worldwide cruising. High-quality sailing vessel with strong seakeeping capabilities, with a strong emphasis on sailing rather than motoring.

Responsibilities
Run and lead the deck department. Hands-on deck operations, sailing, maintenance and management of the deck team. Responsible for deck equipment, navigation and administration, paint and varnish systems, and rope work.

Requirements
Strong and proven background at sea on large sailing vessels. Excellent sailing skills and sound knowledge of deck equipment. Strong navigation and administration skills. Good knowledge of paint and varnish systems and rope work. Strong work ethic and hands-on approach. Proven longevity and repeat employment with previous employers. Minimum RYA Yachtmaster Ocean. All required advanced STCW courses up to date. Excellent spoken and written English.
