Vessel Details

43m motor sailor, recently acquired by a new owner and undergoing refit. Private charter programme combining ocean passages, retreats, wellbeing activities, nature-based experiences and cultural exploration. Founding crew of eight.

Responsibilities

Oversee completion of the refit and prepare the yacht for its first season. Recruit and build the crew, establish a positive onboard culture, and lead safe, professional yacht operations. Work closely with the owner, retreat facilitators and local guides to deliver the programme.

Requirements

Minimum Master 500 GT or higher.

GMDSS GOC.

Proven experience as Captain on sailing yachts over 35m.

Strong sailing skills and a genuine passion for sailing.

Available to join ASAP.

Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to build a positive crew culture.

Good written and spoken English.

Open-minded and aligned with nature, wellbeing and regeneration.

Ocean-crossing and refit experience advantageous. Interest in sustainability, yoga, outdoor activities or retreat-style hospitality is a plus. Additional languages beneficial.
