Position Temp Chief Engineer – 55M+ Private Motor Yacht

Start Date March – Approximately 3 months

Location N/E Queensland – East Coast of Australia

Salary Competitive – Paid in AUD – Inclusive of leave

Contract Temporary

Vessel Details 55M+ Private Motor Yacht – Delivery up the East Coast – Followed by a Yard Period

Responsibilities Oversee all engineering and maintenance duties – Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues – Manage and delegate to 2nd Engineer – Ensure smooth vessel operation throughout delivery and yard period

Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on similar-sized yachts – Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills – Experience with Caterpillar engines is advantageous – Hands-on and proactive approach – Strong leadership and delegation skills

Mandatory Certifications

STCW Y2 III/2 CoC or AMSA Engineer Class 3

Fully updated STCW with PDSD

Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months’ validity)

Covid Vaccinations (Client’s request)

Non-smoker/no visible tattoos
