Vessel Details 40m private motor yacht operating in Mexico and Central America. Not commercially registered (private under 500GT).

Responsibilities

• Full command of the vessel, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency

• Oversee technical operations with strong mechanical/engineering awareness

• Lead and coordinate the crew, ensuring a positive, professional atmosphere

• Maintain high communication standards and execute a smooth owner experience

• Prioritize safety and create structured, flexible routines to support a dynamic itinerary

Requirements

• Master 500GT license (minimum, over 200GT)

• Strong mechanical/engineering knowledge

• STCW + Refresher

• ENG1 or equivalent (valid minimum 6 months)

• Valid passport (minimum 1-year validity)

• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Experience as Captain on similar or larger vessels

• Excellent references and verifiable track record

• Physically fit, mature, reliable, strong work ethic

• Must be able to pass a background check
