OFFICER POSITION – 130ft (40m) Motor Yacht | Private / Occasional Charter

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: September

Salary: $5,000–$7,000 DOE

Leave: 31 days per year

Crew: 8

A 130ft private motor yacht is seeking an experienced and motivated Officer. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year in a similar role or is ready to step up from a Bosun or experienced deckhand position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 200GT Yachtmaster

• Valid Passport

• B1/B2 Visa

• STCW and all required certifications

• Must be able to confidently drive a 52ft Midnight Express

• Physically fit and healthy

Responsibilities:

• Administrative and safety management duties

• Oversee and manage deck crew and discipline

• Organise and lead regular safety drills

• Navigation, watchkeeping, and deck operations

• Maintain deck inventory and oversee maintenance routines

• Strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS

• General maintenance skills including varnishing, carpentry, painting, rust removal

• Familiarity with water sports operations

• Confident communicator and effective leader
