Vessel Details

28m classic wooden-hulled yawl with modern sails, rigging, aluminum masts, hydraulic winches, and updated navigation equipment. Private program with a focus on extensive sailing in the Eastern Mediterranean, often anchored in remote areas. Plans include attending classic regattas and expanding cruising grounds. Crew of 4: Captain/Engineer, Mate, Deck/Steward, and Cook/Steward. All-male crew with shared crew accommodations (Captain has own cabin).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh, well-presented meals for owner, guests, and crew
  • Provisioning, galley management, and menu planning
  • Manage interior housekeeping and service
  • Assist lightly on deck and with line handling as needed

Requirements

  • Chef experience (yachting or high-end hotel/restaurant)
  • Valid STCW and ENG1 (or equivalent basic yachting certs)
  • Organised, budget-conscious, flexible, and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently and live aboard a classic sailing yacht
  • Non-smoker, non-vaper
  • Interest in sailing lifestyle
