Vessel Details 90ft+ Private Sailing Yacht – US-Based – Shared Cabin with Partner – Seasonal role with potential to become permanent depending on owner’s plans

Responsibilities

Command and navigation of the vessel

Oversee day-to-day yacht operations

Ensure safety, compliance, and smooth running of the yacht

Liaise with owners and manage crew (team of 2)

Coordinate cruising plans and maintenance

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of yachting experience in a Captain role

Strong sailing experience and vessel handling

Positive, hands-on leader with excellent communication skills

Non-smoker

Mandatory Certifications

Master 200GT (Yacht)

STCW Basic Safety Training (2010)

ENG1 (or equivalent valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate)

B1/B2 Visa (mandatory)
