Vessel Details

34m / 112’ Private Motor Yacht – Foreign flagged – New Italian build – Primarily based in South Florida with occasional trips to the Bahamas – Commercially unregistered (under 500GT) – Total crew of 5 – Shared cabin and head (shared with two) – Live aboard or off when not traveling

Responsibilities

Oversee all engine room operations and systems maintenance – Perform preventative maintenance and warranty support – Maintain organized technical logs and service records – Operate and maintain Italian-built yacht systems – Participate in watch schedules when required

Requirements

Any valid engineering license mandatory – STCW + Refresher – ENG1 or equivalent (min. 6 months validity) – B1/B2 visa, Green Card, or US work authorization required – Strong mechanical background – Familiarity with Italian builds and Volvo/Kohler systems a plus – Good references and longevity in previous roles – Mature, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
