Sole Chef for a Longevity Cruise
For a 12-18 months world-trip on our 45m motor yacht we look for an amitious Sole Chef who wants to build his/her brand as longevity chef.
Starting February 2025 we will embark on a 12-18 months tour around the world on board of 45m Superyacht Ice-Breaker M/Y Prometej. We will visit all BlueZones and focus on healthy routines and life onboard. We work together with the world's most renowned longevity scientists, including nutrition experts, sport coaches, psychologists, etc.
The journey will take us to to most remote places including Arctic and Antarctic. We will professionally document the trip on social and other media. The Chef we are looking for has a passion for healthy diet, personalized nutrition, and local sourcing. This trip will offer the chance to build your own brand and franchise as a longevity chef.
You will oversee all operations of the galley department. This includes meal planning, preparation, as well as overall kitchen management. You will also be accountable for catering services during onboard events and special occasions, ensuring that all culinary offerings reflect the longevity-focused dietary concept and meet the highest standards of quality. he will formulate and prepare healthy, longevity-focused meals for both guests and crew aboard M/Y Prometej, ensuring that all meals align with the dietary principles of the project. This will include provisioning, ensuring food safety, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and managing the galley’s financial and budgetary aspects.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive nutrition concept aimed at promoting longevity, formulating and preparing recipes aligned with this concept, and composing a longevity-focused cookbook in collaboration with us. Additionally, you will play an active role in our social media initiatives, contributing to content such as blogs, podcasts, and interviews, to further the project's mission and reach.
You will live on board (shared cabin). The crew consists of 9, guest vary from 2-12. You have access to the yacht's gym and 30 days paid holidays per year, including two flights home.
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.

The Chef must be a seasoned Chef with both land and yacht Chef experience, previous sail yacht experience is essential. A chef with Italian heritage would be preferred. This might be an unusual job offer, but a friend is looking for a person that can cook and can do some personal training for a couple (in their 50s/60s).
It doesn’t need to be a culinary trained person, just a natural love for cooking balanced & healthy meals will do.
In the personal trainer role, again, no need to be a professional trainer, but someone able to direct a simple routine that includes stretches and mobility exercises, maybe some cardio if the client feels able to do it.
The job will be in a villa during the winter. If the person selected wants to have a full-time job, some housekeeping duties can be agreed.
Sailing background and basic certificates will be beneficial as the chosen person can become part of the couple’s summer cruising plans onboard their sailing yacht.
