Vessel Details

65m+ private motor yacht undergoing a yard period in Genoa.

Responsibilities

Manage the deck team and daily operations, oversee maintenance and yard projects, coordinate contractors, maintain planned maintenance and safety inspection records, track servicing and certification for LSA, FFE and lifting equipment, and assist with bridge administration and navigational records. Support the Chief Officer with yard planning and coordination.

Requirements

Previous Bosun experience, preferably on a similar-sized vessel. OOW 3000 qualification or actively working towards it. Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage deck operations independently.

Knowledge of planned maintenance systems, safety equipment inspections and bridge procedures is required. Shipyard experience, annual surveys, LSA/FFE servicing, lifting equipment inspections and Furuno bridge systems, including ECDIS, radar and GMDSS, are advantageous.

Must be physically located within the EU or UK and available at short notice.
