Vessel Details: 44m private/charter motor yacht based in the South of France, EU flag, with 8 crew. Initial placement in shipyard from October to mid-November for training and familiarisation, with potential progression to First Mate on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities: Perform deckhand watches and assist in shipyard operations during the initial October to mid-November placement. Progress to First Mate responsibilities including watch-keeping and deck operations management if contract extends.

Requirements: French and English speaking mandatory. Current STCW10 basic training and medical certificate required. OOW 500 mandatory; OOW 3000 desirable for future First Mate position. ECDIS certificate compulsory.

Benefits: Deckhand salary includes paid holidays and all provisions. Chief Mate position offers 2 months on / 2 months off rotation.
