Vessel Details
48m Sailing Yacht operating a Mediterranean programme. Immediate joining opportunity for an experienced Chief Mate to join a professional sailing crew.

Responsibilities
Support the Captain with the safe operation of the yacht, oversee deck operations, supervise maintenance, manage safety procedures, and ensure the vessel is maintained to the highest standards. Carry out Safety Officer duties and lead the deck team throughout the Mediterranean programme.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a minimum OOW Yachts <3000 GT licence, with a Chief Mate qualification preferred. A minimum of three years’ experience onboard 35m+ sailing yachts is required, including experience with captive winches. Advanced hands-on marine varnishing and high-end brightwork skills are essential. Applicants must have solid knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and MLC compliance and be capable of fulfilling Safety Officer responsibilities. An EU Passport or a valid Schengen visa is required, and candidates must be available to join immediately.
