Vessel Details

32m (104’) Malta-flagged commercial sailing yacht cruising the Western Mediterranean. Currently undergoing an extensive refit expected to be completed by end of March 2026.

Responsibilities

• Full oversight of the engineering department, including mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, and propulsion

• Active involvement in pre-season preparations: servicing main engine and generators, fixing plumbing and pumps, and managing contractors

• Operational responsibility during charter and private use (including tender and outboard)

• Hands-on rigging knowledge is a bonus

• Must approach this as a full technical restart

Requirements

• AEC 1 and AEC 2 minimum

• Engineering degree or technical education preferred

• Solid, documented practical experience in engineering

• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills

• Proactive, hands-on attitude

• Team player with a positive and respectful attitude toward international crew and female Captain
