Vessel Details

28m classic wooden-hulled yawl with aluminum masts, modern sails, hydraulic winches, and updated navigation systems. Private use only. Cruises extensively throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, with frequent remote anchorages and plans to attend classic regattas. Crew of 4: Captain/Engineer, Mate, Deck/Steward, Chef/Steward. All-male crew with shared cabin (Captain has own).

Responsibilities

• Lead deck operations and upkeep
• Train and supervise Deckhand
• Assist with sailing, navigation, and passages
• Maintain exterior to high standards
• Support with hands-on maintenance and engineering
• Stand in for Captain when required

Requirements

• Yachtmaster Ocean + valid STCW, ENG1
• Extensive sailing yacht experience (classic yacht preferred)
• Strong leadership and deck maintenance skills
• Ability to live and work on a traditional sailing vessel
• Proactive, positive team player
• Non-smoker, non-vaper
• Engineering knowledge is a plus
