Position Chief Engineer

Start Date 12 May 2025

Location Palma, Spain (Med-based, single season)

Salary €7500+ DOE

Leave 40 days per year

Contract Permanent

Vessel Details 38m Private Motor Yacht, based in the Mediterranean with approx. 40 days use per season

Responsibilities

Oversee engineering operations including MTU 4000s

Assist in shipyard management and 20-year survey

Collaborate with Mate/Assistant Engineer

Project management support during shipyard

Strong knowledge of ISM and PMS systems

Requirements

Y3 Engineering Certificate

Experience with MTU 4000 engines

Shipyard and major survey experience

Schengen visa (if applicable)

Good ISM and planned maintenance knowledge
